Box Office

Kat Franklin
Performer

Kat started training from the age of 4 at Dance Industry Studios, Littlehampton. She performed in many shows and Festivals up to the age of 18. Kat went on to study at Northbrook MET to complete her Foundation Degree in Musical Theatre, and then graduated earlier this year with her BA Hons. Credits during training include ‘Maria’ in West Side Story, ‘Carrie’ in Carrie the Musical and ‘Wendla’ in Spring Awakening. She is very excited to be returning to Live It this year, both as a performer but also assistant producer.

The MET

The Musical Theatre and Dance students at the MET are delighted to be involved in Live it again this year. The students work throughout the year on Musicals , Showcases and Cabarets which are performed both here at the Northbrook Theatre and across the South Coast and London. Many graduates can be seen performing Nationally and Internationally in the Westend, on cruises, in recording contracts and in TV and films. Some of these graduates are performing here tonight including Chelsea, Joseph and Jack.

Chelsea Smith
Performer

Chelsea is excited to perform again at Northbrook theatre, Especially for such a great cause, she graduated from Northbrook MET in 2017 and Earlier this year Chelsea appeared on BBC1s All Together Now and has been on a wonderful journey since then.
Chelsea is thrilled to have been asked to take part in Live it again this year and looking forward to performing alongside such great talent.

Tommy Smith
Performer

This is Tommys first year performing as a solo act at Live it ! You may remember him from last year performing with Kompact theatre.
Tommy trained at Northbrook MET and is excited to be back at the Northbrook Theatre and to be a part of such a great event for a wonderful cause.

Joseph Mason-Smith
Performer

This is Joseph’s first time performing at Live It! And it has been a long time coming. He graduated from STAC in 2015 and has since been sailing around performing and serenading the guest on cruise ships all over the world. He is incredibly excited to be returning to Northbrook Theatre to perform, especially for such good causes that mean so much to all of us.

Madi Horne
Performer

“Madison is once again honoured to have been asked back to perform at LiveIt, a very special evening she looks forward to every year. Madi is a graduate from the London School of Musical Theatre and credits whilst training include: Frieda in Charles Miller’s Hope, Diana in All’s Well that Ends Well and dance captain/ensemble in Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5.

Earlier this year Madison was asked to feature as dancer in a music video for the folk-metal band ‘The Snow Ghosts’. She has also continued to reprise her role as Young Barbara Windsor in the UK Tour of The Story of Bart whilst also adapting the role of the other female parts too. This Christmas Madi will be starring in the Principal role of ‘Dick’ in Dick Whittington for Brighton and Hove Traditional Family Pantomime productions. This will be Madi’s first time playing a principal boy so feel free to come along for a giggle!!

As always, Madison feels very privileged to continue to be a part of this evening and once again cannot wait to share the stage with such special and incredible talent for a show that holds a very special place in her heart.” Xxx

Jack Lansbury
Performer

Jack trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where he achieved his honours degree following on from his two years at Northbrook MET .
Whilst training at Mountview he played ‘Tevye’ in Fiddler on the roof , ‘Hugh Dorsey’ in Parade , ‘Marshall ‘ in Gas station Angel, ‘Clyde’ in Bonnie and Clyde and ‘Sonny’ in Grease. His professional theatre credits include ‘ Puck’ in A midsummer night’s dream ( Aldeburgh festival), ensemble in Cinderella and Dick Whittington (and his meercat ) Theatre Royal York and most recently in London’s West end avenue ‘Boq’ in Wicked.

Dance Industry

Dance Industry take on pupils of all ages, ability and gender as we believe that everyone should have equal opportunities – whether its for fun or for a future career. Training in dance and theatre arts provides and improves on skills including confidence, team work, discipline, creativity and fitness.
